These rules cover offers, discounts and coupons on Tujemy. They apply alongside the site terms, and you accept them when you claim an offer rather than when you create an account.
1. Who funds the discount
The discount is funded by the venue that issues it. Tujemy keeps the record of offers and coupons and provides the tools to redeem them, but is not a party to the discount and does not cover its value.
The discount is settled against your bill at the venue. Tujemy charges you nothing for claiming an offer or for using it.
2. The coupon
Claiming an offer creates a coupon tied to your account. You show it to staff when the bill comes, and staff mark it as used.
- A coupon works once. It expires on redemption, including for any screenshot you kept.
- A coupon cannot be bought, exchanged for cash or transferred to a bank account. It has no monetary value outside the bill at the venue it belongs to.
- A coupon is tied to your account and cannot be passed to somebody else.
- Unless the offer says otherwise, coupons do not combine with each other or with the venue's other discounts.
3. Validity and limits
Every offer states its end date, the days and hours it works on, and how many times it can be redeemed. You see these before you claim it, and they do not change afterwards.
After the end date, or once the limit is used up, the coupon stops working. If the limit runs out before you claim the offer, no coupon is created and we say so plainly.
4. Withdrawing an offer
A venue may end an offer early, and Tujemy may suspend one that breaks the law, breaks these rules or misleads. In both cases the offer leaves the site and no new coupons are created.
A coupon you already hold stays valid until its own expiry. The exception is a coupon obtained in breach of these rules, for example by working around a limit: that one is voided and you are told why.
5. Complaints
If a venue refuses a valid coupon, report it from the coupon itself or by email. We check the coupon's state and its redemption history on our side, pass the case to the venue, and come back to you. We do not decide the value of your bill on the venue's behalf.
6. Data
Issuing and redeeming a coupon means processing your account and booking data. The scope and the legal bases are set out in our privacy policy.
Offers from a venue you have visited appear in the app and in your account. Push notifications and emails carrying offers are sent only with your consent, given separately for each channel, and you can withdraw it at any time in your account settings. You can also mute a single venue's offers, or all of them at once.
7. Changes to these rules
These rules carry a version number. If we change them, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you claim an offer. Coupons claimed earlier stay under the version in force on the day they were claimed.
